Doctor Whooves small plushie

I made an itty bitty wittle Doctor Whooves! /)^3^(\

From his hoof to the tip of his ear, he is exactly four inches tall. (Five inches if you measure to the tip of his crazy hair!) He's made with all sorts of material. Felt was used for his eyes, mane/tail, and the yellow parts of his cutie mark. The white/blue glass of the cutie mark was taken from an old pair of jeans. The blue of his eyes is from an old t-shirt. His body and the sand for his cutie mark was left over material from one of my other sewing projects. Everything was hand-stitched, including his nostrils and mouth.

I had a difficult time turning his legs inside out after sewing them up. The hardest part was figuring out how to attach the head and mane. The cutie mark(s) were also rather difficult to sew together and then attach. Overall, I'm pleased with the result.

I'm not sure exactly how long it took from start to finish, since I worked on it on and off over the last two days. I'll say roughly eight hours or so.

Now that the Doctor is finished, I'm moving on to creating a sonic screwdriver, suit jacket, and duster-style coat for him. I might try making a little tie for him, as well. I'm also constructing a TARDIS out of cardboard. I'll post pictures of all that as I finish them. And once I find a good yellow material, I'm going to make Derpy Hooves. The Doctor needs a companion!
